How Albaöl recipes are created
The beneficial properties of rapeseed oil in general and Albaöl in particular have not yet been taken into account in many cookery and baking books. With our large selection of recipes, we want to make you want to cook them, try them out and experiment. In general, all dishes that require fat can be prepared with Albaöl. Baking recipes generally require around 25% less Albaöl compared to butter. You can find out more about this in the conversion tables.
All recipes were tested by our nutrition expert Erika Wöhrmann and photographed by our photographer Iris Große-Wortmann immediately after preparation - authentic and appetizing. Erika Wöhrmann is a certified dietitian, so healthy eating is important to her. Many of the recipes are therefore low in cholesterol and/or calorie conscious. To explain: By “low cholesterol” we mean dishes that contain less than 20 mg cholesterol/100 g. Cakes and pastries with less than 200 kcal/100 g were labeled “calorie-conscious” and all other recipes if they contained less than 120 kcal/100 g.
In addition, the nutritional information was determined for all recipes. The calorie numbers are intended to serve as a guide for anyone who would like to lose a few pounds. The amounts of carbohydrates and bread units (BU) were given as a guide for diabetics.
